Your Community Needs You
Fraser Coast Hospice belongs to all of us. As one of Australia's fortunate few regions with our own hospice, we exist because local people like you believe everyone deserves compassionate, dignified end-of-life care.
That's where you come in....
Why Your Hospice Needs Volunteers
Every day, Fraser Coast families facing life's most challenging moments find exactly what they're looking for at our hospice. But this vital community service works so well because local people step up to help.
When you volunteer, you contribute to creating a peaceful environment where families can focus on what matters most: being together, saying what needs to be said, and supporting each other through the hardest of times.

What our volunteers say...
"The most rewarding part of volunteering is being able to give back to a most wonderful team of people and the organisation who were there for me and my family at a time when we most needed some help."
Jen B
"I keep coming back because I remember how appreciative I was of the amazing hospice care given to my mother in her final days in Adelaide. I feel strongly that all people deserve the opportunity for hospice care should they wish it."
Suzanne H
"My experience as a hospice volunteer has been so positive and supportive. I've gained new skills both in the kitchen, and in admin/finance tasks with a kind, caring and cheerful team that make me feel so welcomed."
